Looking for a soul mate to share your life with is very much like the process of looking for a new job.
You search the market to see what opportunities are available, you find people you like, you make contact or they contact you and then you go through a process of dating to see if you are right for each other before finally officially starting a relationship.
Dating profiles are like your CV for love. They’re the thing that gets you through the initial sift before engaging in initial conversation, which is your preliminary interview before in person dates that are more like formal interviews.
If you’re applying for a job, you take it seriously, finding out about the company’s reputation, what the role involves etc. It should be no different with dating, especially if you’re serious about finding something long term and meaningful.
I began to wonder what would my CV look like if I was preparing something for potential partners? What would I want them to know and how would I sell my positive attributes to someone considering me as a potential partner. So I decided to build this site.
I will also add a blog about my experience with the process of looking for a new partner, as I’m sure it will be a bumpy ride along the way but I’m determined to find someone to share my life with. I hope you find it entertaining if nothing else!
